Web414 Group In Milwaukee

I'm sitting in the Web414 meeting. Web414 is one of Milwaukee's web communities. On the agenda tonight is:

1. Lisa Sabin-Wilson, author of WordPress For Dummies, will present "Dissecting Magazine Themes", an implementation of WordPress which uses queries and custom fields to create magazine and newspaper-like themes.

2. Mike Rohde and Jason McDowell will lead a brief group discussion, critiquing a website design to determine what works and what doesn't from design and usability perspectives.

3. Follow-up summary of MilwaukeeDevHouse2 and discussion and planning for BarCampMilwaukee3 planned for Fall 2008.

Great stuff, even for a non-programmer like me. Love to see the passion and commitment of people in Milwaukee.
